Special attention will be directed to students and young geophysicists. Beside poster presentations, Challenge Bowl
will be organized, as well as Career Center and Universities corner.
 

Registration fee: 50 E (Payment made before 30th March) or 75 E (after 30th March).

Dr Peter Nederlof:
New Applications in Petroleum Geochemistry - Student Lecture Tour (EAGE sponsored course)

Prof Alfred Frasheri will give the following lectures:
1. Outlook on the possibility for slope stability evaluation according to petrophysical data (1-2 hours)
2. Platform for projecting of integrated and cascade use of geothermal energy of low enthalpy (1-2 hours)

Challenge Bowl

 
Challenge Bowl will be organized according to the existent SEG rules.
 

Universities Corner:

Special part of the Continental Hotel Hall (Technical Exhibition) is planned for promotion of universities from Balkan countries, but also from all over the world. All details on conditions for the booths are at: Download (Exhibition Contract form).
Booth for Universities (min 3 m2): 100 Euro/m2 (excl. VAT) - before 30 March 09, 170 Euro/m2 (excl. VAT) - after 30 March 09


Travel Grants:

Fund offering Travel Grants to students attending the BGS Congress in Belgrade will be available. All students interested in applying for a travel grant must participate in poster presentations or in Geo-Quiz. The abstract must focus on the overview of the study specialization and research during the students University education. To qualify for the travel grant, please send to Organizing Committee (unabojan@eunet.rs) an abstract of a poster presentation, a written justification (document explaining why you feel you deserve the travel grant), and curriculum vitae (CV).

Abstracts should be submitted before 16 March 2009. Presentations (and abstracts) must be given in English.
Applications for Challenge Bowl and for the travel grant should be sent before 16 March 2009.
