Abstract instructions
Technical Program Committee will consider all abstracts submitted to the Conference e-mail or the Web-site by 15 March 2012 and notification of acceptance will be made to authors by 25 March 2012. Abstracts must be relevant to one of the Conference topics indicated overleaf and authors are requested to mark one of them under which their abstract should be evaluated by the referees. The final session titles and paper allocation will be made by the Technical Program Committee at the time of the final Program composition.
Please note that the abstracts will be reviewed by the Technical Program Committee and that you need to use our abstract template, that is available here . Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published on the CD-Rom exactly as submitted and will not be re-typed, you will not be given the opportunity to re-submit a new version of your abstract after it has been sent, or rejected due to many spelling or grammar errors. Late submissions will be also rejected – NO EXCEPTIONS!
PRESENTATIONS: Authors should indicate their preference for presenting their paper either as an oral or a poster presentation; certain material lends itself better for a poster than for projection during the presentation. Papers accepted as oral presentations and poster presentations will have equal standing.
An oral paper will be allocated 10 minutes for the speaker’s presentation. Sufficient time will be allocated for discussions. Time slots in the meeting program will be strictly observed. The only presentation file type that will be accepted is PowerPoint presentation and .pdf format.
A poster paper consists of a graphical presentation displayed on one or two units 1.00 m wide and 2.00 m high, explanations by the authors and discussions. The presentation will be allocated 25 minutes, including the time for discussion. Time slots in the meeting program will be strictly observed.
The following rules will therefore apply to the preparation of the abstracts:
(a) In order to ensure publication on the CD-Rom, authors should use abstract templates, available here and  submit their abstracts through the Abstract Submission page.
(b) Abstract must be up to four pages A4 in length and not exceed 5 MB file size. The abstract should consist of text and figures. Longer sized abstracts will be rejected.
(c) Abstracts must be in English.
(d) The abstract must be clearly typed, using the following margins instructions:
• Top – 2.54cm (1″)
• Bottom – 2.54cm (1″)
• Left & right – 2.54cm (1″)
(e) Do not type the text in columns. Do not frame the text. If possible, please use type font Times New Roman 11 pts.
